Spirit Tower Postponed. Dark is Next!

MetaZoo announced yesterday that they will be postponing the Spirit Tower indefinitely, with their focus instead being on the Dark Tower, which was scheduled after Spirit originally. While this is unfortunate news, I think it’s a continued indication that MetaZoo is slowing down to ensure the experience at these events is top notch. I think this is a good thing.

The announcement indicated more details about Dark Tower would come in a week or so, but here is what we know so far about Dark Tower from the official Tower document:

Dates: September 16-17, 2023

Location: 201 4th Street, Point Pleasant, WV

Active Terra: TBA

Active 4th Walls: TBA

The event is intended to take place along the annual Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, where the Mothman was originally discovered.

In terms of Active Terra, my speculation is as follows: Nighttime, Full Moon, City, Suburban and Forest.

I have not looked closely at the options for Dark Tower, and lots of things don’t get all that specific until the Terra are announced That said, here are my thoughts on some Beasties that will be strong at the event: Chibi Salem’s Witches, Sarah Good, Napa Rebobs, Ozark Howler, Jersey Devil, Mothman (all printings but especially the blister promo)
